Matthew Clayton has been teaching privately under the name Piano Tuition Cardiff for nearly 10 years. In that time he has taught many children and adults how to play the piano. Matthew’s piano lessons in Cardiff are fun and are well structured. After every piano lesson with Matthew, the pupil, no matter what age, are clear with the tasks that they need to practice on and improve for the piano lesson the following week.
Matthew teaches in a range of styles from classical, pop music, rock, blues and jazz music. Most of Matthew’s pupils will go through the piano graded music system – however some of pupils only want to learn for fun and not sit exams- either option is fine.
Matthew charges £13.50 per half hour lesson. He is competitively priced as Matthew prides himself on giving pupils from all backgrounds access to private music tuition in Cardiff.
About Matthew Clayton- Piano Teacher in Cardiff
Matthew completed his music degree from Cardiff University in 2009. He then went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in music from the Open University. Since then he has run choirs, played solo piano for events and weddings and has performed extensively with a function band.
Matthew has always believed music is for fun. He is a young piano teacher who is familiar with chart music and film music as well classical music. Whatever type of music you wish to learn, there is no doubt Matthew will be able to teach it to you.
Matthew has put over 120 pupils successfully through their piano exams. He also teaches from music theory.
Matthew has been teaching in schools and colleges for Gwent Music since 2010.
