Matthew believes that music is for fun, and that is why he keeps his lessons very engaging and fun. He teaches all styles from classical music to rock to keep pupils interested. He also prepares pupils for their piano exams, taking them through the piano syllabus learning scales and chords.
If you take lessons with Matthew, you will learn in all styles of music. You will learn Mozart, Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran and Beethoven.
Matthew teaches children from 7 years of age. Some of Matthew’s piano pupils are of retired age and have taken the piano up in their retirement as a new hobby.
Matthew gained his music degree from Cardiff University in 2009 and since then he went on to set up Piano Tuition Cardiff – one of the most successful piano teaching practices in Cardiff.
Matthew also teaches piano in schools for Gwent Music Service.
How much do piano lessons cost?
Matthew charges £13.50 per half hour lesson. Most of Matthew’s pupils come from a piano lesson once a week. For those wanting to study advanced piano and tackle the grades above grade 5, they normally have a 1 hour lesson per week.
Matthew also teaches music theory and enters pupils for graded music theory exams.
