Matthew Clayton teaches piano from his home in Cyncoed Cardiff. Matthew teaches students from all over Cardiff, who are currently taking lessons online due to eh Covid-19 crisis. Matthew has a real passion for the piano and music making in general. He has conducted choirs, played in bands and has lots of solo performing experience. Lots of people enjoy coming to Matthew for their piano lessons in Cardiff because he is a very patient and easy going, young teacher. He is more than happy teaching "fun" music from the charts as he is teaching technical classical pieces. For 10 years, Matthew has also experience teaching piano in primary, secondary schools as well as teaching A Level music students in College. Matthew teaches pupils from absolute beginner level right up to and including the last grade - grade 8. He also teaches music theory up to grade 5. Matthew holds a 100% pass record with all his students who have sat a music theory or practical piano exam with ABRSM and Trinity exam boards. However, Matthew also welcomes students who only want to learn for fun and do not wish to take piano exams. Matthew teaches students from 7 years and upwards.
