He has a lot of experience and over the years of playing at various wedding venues has built up an extensive repertoire of songs in lots of different styles. Matthew plays lots of different types of piano arrangements – he can play songs from the current charts, as well as traditional romantic ballads by the likes of Elton John and Ed Sheeran. He can also play jazz music, music from films such as Frozen and The Greatest Showman. Some bride and grooms like traditional classical music for the bridal entrance – Matthew can also play that too. Matthew Clayton graduated with a music degree from Cardiff University so he is a highly trained pianist who can turn his hand to any style. Matthew also encourages bride and grooms before their big day to pick specific songs that mean something to them that they would like played. Matthew factors a few things into the final fee such as how long you would like him to play and how far the wedding venue is from his home in Cardiff. It is worth noting that Matthew plays all over the UK, as far north as Birmingham and as far east as London. However, Matthew predominantly plays for weddings in the South Wales region.
